The Heart Behind Camaré Fairs
Camaré Fairs was born from the strength, love, and vision of four extraordinary individuals whose impact continues to shape my life. Educators in every sense, a teacher, a nurse, a mother, and a French professor. They each played a unique role in raising, guiding, and believing in me. The name “Camaré” is a tribute, carefully coined from their names, with the accented “é” honoring a lifelong love for the French language. Pronounced (kah-mah-RAY). Their unwavering support helped me rise beyond limitations, and today, their legacy lives on in every child we serve.

How we reimagine education
STEAM Fairs and Kits
Our signature events bring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math into vibrant, hands-on spaces. Through interactive exhibits, creative problem-solving, and real-world challenges, students experience learning in a way that’s exciting, inclusive, and unforgettable.To keep that curiosity going beyond the event, each student receives a take-home STEAM Kit filled with tools, challenges, and guided activities that encourage them to continue exploring, building, and experimenting on their own.

Camaré Fellows
Camaré Fellows are high-potential college students in their third to final year, selected to engage more deeply in our programs. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and leadership opportunities, they grow as creators, innovators, and changemakers. This fellowship honors the legacy as as a lifelong educator, Professor Matthew Alawode who believed deeply in nurturing potential.
How we reimagine education
Healthy Futures
Through engaging workshops and age-appropriate activities, we teach students about hygiene, mental well-being, body literacy, and self-care. Our goal is to help them make informed choices and build confidence in their overall health starting early, and lasting long.

Camare Fairs was born from the journey of a girl who was nurtured by the love and guidance of four remarkable individuals who believed in her brilliance when the world didn’t always see it. Their quiet strength helped her rise, pursue education, and embrace the power of possibility. Today, she carries that legacy forward by creating spaces where students, especially those often overlooked, can explore their potential and know they belong.
